this is not the 1930s
in 30s we had:
extended families and closer ties to them
agriculture/farming as a primary occupation
a higher moral fiber and sense of togetherness
we were still a bunch of farmboys-- please listen to the song country
folk can survive
we were as bunched up in large cities
we were not so dependent o foreign oil and other products
we were not so much in debt as a country or as individuals
so this no be like the 30's
