3. If you are prepared, there is no reason to panic.

4. JIT
Just in time delivery is a modern invention. Means grocery stores and the like save money by not keeping a big warehouse of inventory, they get it delivered "just in time." Just in time delivery depends on fuel for trucks and people willing to drive them to the stores. Depends on the store having electricity for their check out computers to work and people willing to come to work. Of course in ANY disaster or hurricane, many items are just completely sold out. Supply exceeds demand and they gotta wait on the next truck.

5. A financial meltdown, war with Iran, riots.

6. The government has told us to.
What should we think about a government telling us to make preparations to be able to survive on our own for 3 days?

7. In a depression things get hard to get and money dries up. You may not be able to get enough money to buy what you need when you need. it.

8. With all that is happening, are you not starting to realize that you can't depend on other people to take care of you? Prepare yourself so you don't have to depend on other people.

9. If you do get prepared and nothing major happens, what have you lost? Can't you use some of the things you bought? Heck your electricity has to go off sometime right? You will be a hell of a camper.

10. We are living in the times of the end of the world as we know it.(I didn't say the end of the world, that is different) If you don't believe that you have not been paying attention to the news or you are a complete blathering idiot who needs a slap on the face to wake up.
